My inspiration comes from different places but a few feelings pervade of recent: the ocean, our lens and taking flight.
I'm forever in awe of the under water world, a world with different weather, characters and colours. It's alien to those of us who spend little time in the ocean or seek it out. When swimming on the surface or surfing we find different moods and our perspective and encounters change.
Depending on our work, education and upbringing we observe the world through a different lens. I often wonder what sentiments and feelings the experience of changing our norm or reference point would yield.
The idea of taking flight and prevailing to heights ever higher always speaks to me of the funny balances at play. What states we wish to go between
